Prudential 1L Summer Internship

NAPABA-PRUDENTIAL 2010 1L SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Prudential Financial, Inc. (Prudential) to provide a meaningful summer internship opportunity to a highly-motivated first-year law student. Through this partnership, NAPABA will select a student to join the 2010 summer law intern class at Prudential for an 11-week internship at Prudential’s offices in Newark, New Jersey for a stipend of approximately $8,500.

Reshma Saujani for Congress Volunteer Opportunities

Reshma needs all of the help she can get in her race for NY's 14th Congressional District. Here are some things you can do to help:

• Make Calls to voters in the 14th District. Help us introduce voters to Reshma by inviting them to meet and greets and other events. These calls can be made from home on your computer, at our office, or by getting together with some friends and having a phone bank party.

• Canvass in the 14th District. Help us contact voters by picking a weekend this spring to knock on doors in the district and tell voters about Reshma. If you live oustide of NYC pick a weekend to bring a car full of your friends to the District to help us knock on doors.

• Register Voters in the 14th District. Know some folks in the district who haven't registered to vote? Talk to one of our Field Organizers about getting some voter registration forms and helping us increase the number of people who can vote for Reshma this fall.

• If you don't live in the District or even in the city, but know people who do live in the district and you would like to talk to them about Reshma. Let us know what information you need and who your friends are so we can get them to support Reshma's campaign.

• Host a house party. If you live in the 14th District you can help Reshma by hosting a house party for you neighbors to come and meet her. Don't worry about getting people there, just work out the time with one of our Field Organizers and we'll get people to come.
